MBSoc-Kent

Hi guys

A few more days to go before the Easter holidays. I assume that everyone is busy with their deadlines as the end of spring term is coming to an end. Good luck with whatever you're trying to finish. Anyway, the society has planned a few events so that members can have something to do during the holidays:

1. Easter picnic
This will be held on Friday the 10th starting from 11-3pm. We gonna have a picnic on the field (close to Rutherford and Elliot). The theme will be beach party (wear anything that suits you since it is a sunny day). Food and beverages will be provided, but you can bring your own food.

2.Trip to Alton Towers/Thorpe park
We're planning to have a day trip probably on 20/4 or 21/4. Its either to Thorpe Park or Alton Towers, but it's unconfirmed yet so I've posted a poll for you to vote which place we should go. Polls will be closed by next week. And spaces will be limited as we're planning to take 20-30 people only. So let me know if you're interested.

Prices:(Thorpe Park): http://www.thorpepark.com/ticket-prices.php
(Alton Towers): http://www.altontowers.com/tickets/

3.Planet Lazer
Its like paintball, but its in a form of 'lazer tag'. See: http://www.planetlazer.co.uk/
The cost of entry is quite cheap and the place is near (Its in canterbury!), so let me know if anyone is interested

I think thats roughly what we had in mind. If there's any update I'll email you guys and post something on the blog. So keep checking your mail and the blog as well. Oh, dont forget to vote for Alton Towers or Thorpe Park for our day trip!

Tomorrow 25/3: mixed football in the sports hall at 3.45 pm.

Tomorrow Wednesday: football in Parkwood at 10am-12pm. Boys and girls are welcomed to join & play.

This is a message from a friend of mine. A few days ago he attended a meeting by the Markaz mosque committees. They are requesting a help from our society to give them donations so that we can aid them financially in order to pay for the mosque. To donate you can go to Markaz and meet one of the committees there or just simply insert your money into one of the donation boxes. There is still a large amount of money for them to pay, so please kindly donate to them.

Thank you guys.

Firstly, i know this is late, but just to confirm to the COMMITTEE MEMBERS, today's meeting has been cancelled.

Secondly, a message from Aisyah to all members. She needs 12 participants tomorrow for a psychology study. If anyone is interested to help her please kindly email her ASAP. Her email is sai21.

Have a nice day guys =)

1.COMMITTEE MEETING

To all committee members, PLEASE COME to our committee meeting tomorrow on Thursday 26th February at 6.30pm in Keynes Red Couch Lounge.

2.INTER SOCIETY FOOTBALL

Our next game is against the Chinese at 4pm in Parkwood. We lost during the last two matches probably due to the lack of supporters haha =p So to dear members who are not playing, come and cheer us. Your cheers and supports could give us the extra motivation and boost to win this game haha. GO TEAM!!!

3.GIRLS' FOOTBALL & BASKETBALL

Wani is organising girls' football/basketball which will be held tomorrow on Thursday from 3pm to 4pm in the sports centre. She said its just for GIRLS only hahaha =p

To all committee members please attend a meeting on Tuesday 24 Feb at 6.30 pm in Keynes red couch lounge.
